Job spec for Design and Multimedia Intern
The Design and Multimedia intern will assist The TAS Group Marketing team in a variety of tasks relating to our visual identity in projects ranging from videos, to graphic design, to podcasting. The intern will work primarily with the Marketing team to develop and execute engaging materials for TTG website, social media channels, email communications, and (less frequently) print.
As a multimedia intern you’ll be right at home creating all types of audiovisual content for online publishing. Whether it’s creating graphics in Photoshop or Illustrator, editing videos with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, or editing audio using Audacity, Reaper or similar, you have the talent, drive and problem-solving skills to produce slick, eye-catching content.
When it comes to video, you’ll be comfortable editing existing content, recording new content, and adding finishing touches with audio, transitions, captions and effects. Ideally, you’ll have some experience of converting videos to different formats.
Strong Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
Strong Proficiency in Powerpoint
Knowledge of design for web and print media – ebooks, slides, infographics
Experience and enthusiasm in using visual media for social – images , videos etc
Video editing experience essential
Podcasting experience desirable
Serious attention to detail
Tech and Internet savvy
Experience with HTML, CSS are a plus
