Where in our lives do we struggle to wait? To accept that our prayers “aren’t being answered”?

For Zachariah and Elizabeth, it must have been agonizing to face infertility their entire lives. Elizabeth had such humility to wait upon the Lord even though he “wasn’t answering her prayer” and then to receive the fruit of her prayer even when it wasn’t the ideal time.

God had a plan for Elizabeth all along and did not forget her. He has a plan for you too—and he has not forgotten you.
